If you’re sitting here reading my post, most likely you’ve stumbled across my twitter or maybe I have hopefully become world known and I’ve got some fans who want to know where I started (but let’s not kid ourselves, you found my twitter).
My name is Alex M. Cooper (hence AMC Blogs) and I am currently 18 studying a double degree of Communication and Media & International Studies, at the University of Wollongong, Sydney, Australia. I’m a first year of a four and a half year degree, and a key component of my communications course, is to regularly post on a blog and post about topics we discuss in class. I will be regularly posting university related posts and personal interest posts!
But obviously, since your reading my blog you may want to know about the author. I have an endless obsession for internet culture and memes, I was part of the PewDiePie vs T-Series war and I adore my cats. I love getting to spend time doing creative arts and making media, especially photography. I have a high interest in fandom culture (cough cough more like high participation cough cough) and when I watch a show, I WATCH a show real quick. Netflix and chill (More just Netflix side in reality) is the job title I should really be considering.
In terms of my future, I dream to travel and have the ability to make media whilst I doing it. However, I’d also love to work with NGO’s and their media sections, putting my hand in to help those less fortunate. The ability that media has to portray stories and discuss topics in a creative manner is something that has always intrigued me and I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
In the future I hope I will be regularly posting updates and posts, regarding a variety of topics that are relevant in today’s modern day society. I hope we will be able to enjoy this journey together and you feel welcome to comment and discuss these topics with me!
