The Unfortunate Flop of AMC’s Twitch Channel – OP3

We come to the last few days of the Digital Artefact for my university course, and in reality, my DA has not been travelling very well over the last few weeks. I’ve certainly neglected it compared to other weeks and have not been active on my ‘online presence’ either. Whether this is a personal thing as I haven’t handled the ‘openess’ of the assignment or I’m simply just loosing interest in my Twitch channel? But certainly needs to be recognised.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve done an average of 4 streams, and in all of them, I was to receive anyone watching them, even if I streamed online for over 2 hours – Which is a considerably large amount of time for a ‘small’ streamer. I found this incredibly disheartening and this could have lead to why I lost as much passion in my project.

I found myself over the last few weeks still watching streamers and involving myself in their community, which is still a good thing as I’m aware of content curation and attempting to expand my audience. Yet these attempts can be seen to be unsuccessful to a point.

I can’t particularly think of what else to share with you all seeing that my DA really hasn’t been active, but from this I’ve really learnt the importance of being passionate in your projects, and this is definitely going to be taken into consideration when I continue with my BCM subjects and do more DA projects!

Till next time,

Alex 🙂
